Rundle United Thrift

PLEASE NOTE: due to a fire on March 15th which created significant smoke damage, the Thrift Shop is closed until further notice.  Please do not leave goods for sale at this time.  We will let you know when we are ready to relaunch!

Please bring your own bag. The Banff thrift store, Rundle United Thrift, at 104 Banff Avenue, first opened its doors in its current form in August 2009 in the Ark Room in the lower level of Rundle Memorial United Church. It was created as the 30+ year old rummage sales at the church needed a more permanent presence in the community. The entrance  is at Racine Hall at 104 Banff Avenue.  Great bargains on clothing, footwear, games, toys, music, movies, books, sporting goods, bedding, furniture, electronics, house wares, craft supplies and unique collectible items. The Banff thrift store, Rundle United Thrift connects to our congregation’s mission by making affordable clothing and household items available to members of the community , which they otherwise could not afford.  The shop follows a sliding scale pricing philosophy.

Volunteer
If you love to hunt for bargains and are committed to recycling previously loved items, then consider volunteering at the Banff thrift store, Rundle United Thrift.  Hours and duties are varied and flexible.  Whether you want to sort through the treasures, set up creative displays, distribute posters or help customers on sales days, we have a place for you.
Our items are donated by the community and in turn, we share the surplus with various groups locally and globally.  Some of the projects that we support include: Banff Homeless to Housing CoalitionMustard Seed, Habitat for Humanity, Everybody Gets to Ski Program, Bonny Book Program, IODE, SPCA and the  Banff Food Bank.
