In Loving Memory of Rev. Grant Dillenbeck
It is with sadness and deep gratitude that we share the news that Reverend Grant Dillenbeck died on November 10, 2025, with his wife of 485 months, Ruth, by his side at their home in Stittsville.
Grant will be lovingly remembered by his brother David (Heather), his sister Beverly (Jerry), his cousin and “Best Friend” Rick (Doug), as well as his many nieces and nephews — Megan (Scott), Kristin (Duggan), Nathan (Courtney), Matthew (Colleen), Justin (Josee), and Adam (Amy) — and by the great-nieces and great-nephews he cherished so deeply.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gwenythe and Hubert Dillenbeck.
Grant shared a remarkable partnership in ministry, camping, travelling, and community building with his beloved Ruth Richardson, who will miss her soulmate dearly.
Family and friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home – Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, ON) on:
-
Friday, November 14th, 2:00–4:00 pm
-
Saturday, November 15th
-
Sunday, November 16th, 2025
Plans for a celebration of Grant’s life, to be held at Zion United Church in Carleton Place, will be shared once finalized in the coming weeks.
Please continue to hold Ruth and their family in your prayers.
